What is that truly we want?
We want love; to love and be loved.
Loved by strangers, feel appreciated, respected.
And the only way to achieve these is to learn how to treat people better.
Love them and their flaws, understand their situation, feel when they try to heal from things they don’t even talk about.
It doesn’t really matter if someone else wouldn’t act the same in a similar situation. What you are feeling is valid and based on your own experiences and characteristics.
Saying “i shouldn’t be feeling this way” or “whats wrong with me for thinking like this", delays your healing.
Be kind, express your love often. Remember that it benefits, not just the recipient of affection, but also the person who delivers it.
